Your April 25 editorial criticizing two of my legislative initiatives may have been based on incomplete information.

As an elected representative of the people of Rensselaer and Saratoga counties, I have been asked by some of my constituents to request from certain political organizations information regarding their spending, staff and payroll. I have not, as you claim, harassed the New York Public Interest Research Group and the New York State Hunger Action Network.
